The leverage problem

The leverage ceiling isn't more people. It's a better stack.

You've built a real business. You're past $1M. You should have more freedom than you do.

Every supplier is selling you a magic AI bullet. None of them understand your business. You're paying for tools you barely use, builds that don't quite work, and hype you can't separate from substance.

The next leverage ceiling isn't another team member. It's a better stack.

Using AI vs building with AI

Most operators use AI. Few build with it.

There's a climb from asking a chatbot questions to running systems that work while you sleep. The program is about getting you up the top three rungs, the ones that actually move the business.

Building with AI · where the program takes you

5

Agents

Systems that make decisions and run parts of the business on their own.

4

Your own tools

Custom dashboards on your data, GPTs built for how you actually work.

3

Automations

Things that run without you: follow-ups, replies, jobs logged automatically.

2

Templates

Saved prompts for the handful of jobs you do every single day.

1

Prompting

You type questions into ChatGPT and copy the answers out.

What gets transferred

Four capabilities. You own all of them.

TRANSFER / AFOwned

AI fluency

You stop outsourcing judgement. What to build, what to buy, what to ignore: decided by you, against your own operation, before a vendor gets a word in.

Total visibility

The whole business on one screen you own: jobs, money, pipeline, reputation. You see the leak the week it starts, not at BAS time.

TRANSFER / OLRunning

An operating layer

The repetitive load, carried before you sit down. Mornings start prepped; the admin that used to wait on you simply doesn't. You review and decide.

The bench

Specialist help without the roulette. When a build needs deeper hands, you draw on people already proven on real work, scoped straight, priced fair.

The twelve months

You leave running it. Not relying on me.

01Month 0 · Diagnose

Scaling Stack audit. AI maturity audit. Your custom 12-month roadmap, locked before we start.

02M1–3 · Foundations

AI literacy. Tool landscape. First integrations. The three highest-leverage opportunities in your business, locked in.

03M4–6 · Building

First dashboards. First local agents. MCP connections. I build with you, not for you.

04M7–9 · Compounding

You extend the stack. New agents you design. New workflows you ship. I coach.

05M10–12 · Ownership

You run it. Year 2 plan locked. Graduation. No dependency on me.

After twelve months

What bleeding-edge looks like in a trade business.

01

Run local Claude agents on your machine that triage your inbox before you wake up.

02

Wire your tools together so your CRM, accounting, inbox and ops stop sitting in silos.

03

Pull your job, lead, review and financial data into one dashboard you control.

04

Schedule autonomous agent runs that handle review requests overnight, on your data.

05

Build skills and workflows yourself for the ops work you do every day.

06

Add a new tool to your stack without breaking the rest of it.

How we find where to start

The diagnostic lens.

L4Growth Engine
L3Operational Backbone
L2People & Culture
L1 · FoundationThe Hands
The Scaling Stack · foundation up = most leverage

Every program starts with an audit. I use a framework I built called the Scaling Stack.

It maps your business across four layers. The Hands sit at the foundation, the work itself. People & Culture above. The Operational Backbone above that. The Growth Engine at the top.

L1 is the layer everything else rests on: deepest, most impactful, hardest to move. Get it right and the layers above compound.

Most of the time the bottleneck isn't where the operator thinks it is. The diagnostic finds it before we write a single line of code.

The proof

I run the stack I transfer.

I run ServiceScale on this exact stack: lean by design, overheads low enough to keep the margin where I want it. The dashboards. The local agents. The integrations. None of it's a pitch. It's my operating system.

I built it because I had to. There's no template for running a service business this lean. So I built one.

You don't buy what I sell. You learn to run what I run.

Pat at ServiceScale helped my business extremely well. By helping us cut down admin time and post inspection work from 30 minutes a job to 2 minutes a job. He also set us up to maximise the technology and software we were using, and introduced us to some other software that made our lives and work much easier and more efficient and productive.

Pat's been amazing to work with. He's my advisor on AI and just put my website together for me. He's smart, efficient, quick, and the quality of his work is excellent. He listens to what I actually want, which makes the whole process so much easier. This feels like the start of a long-term thing — I've got a good feeling we're going to keep building and creating things together. Highly recommend.

Pat Fong, founder of ServiceScale
Who you'll work with

Pat Fong.

I started ServiceScale because I'd seen too many trade businesses spend on the wrong tools. I built the operating system I now run on. I coach one new operator a month so they can build theirs.

What you bring

A partnership, not a service.

  • Time. Two hours a week of coaching plus implementation time you commit to.
  • Your tools. Access to your CRM, accounting, job system, inbox, whatever's in the mix. We work with what you have.
  • Your data. The dashboards run on your real data. You stay in control of it.
  • Willingness to learn. You'll be doing the work, not watching me do it.
Qualification

Who this is for. Who it isn't.

This is for you if:

  • Your business is over $1M in revenue
  • You've already proved you can run jobs, win work, and deliver well
  • You've hit a leverage ceiling and more people isn't the answer
  • You want to own a stack, not rent one
  • You want to understand AI, not just consume it

This is not for you if:

  • You're under $1M in revenue. The stack doesn't earn out yet. Start with the free resources.
  • You want someone to do AI for you. Done-for-you isn't on offer.
  • You've never invested more than $5K in software. Signals the wrong scale.
  • You expect to recoup it in the first three months. Signals the wrong timeframe.
  • You're still doing most of the work yourself. Signals the wrong stage.
  • You're price-shopping. This is investment-grade, not commodity.
Investment

A 12-month investment to break the leverage ceiling. Or your money back.

$25,000

  • Flat. Twelve months. One operator a month.
  • The systems designed to keep a business lean, low-overhead and high-margin.
  • Money-back guarantee. If you don't get value, you don't pay.
  • This is a year, not a quarter. I build things that compound.

Frequently asked

Questions I answer often.

How much does it cost?

$25,000 inc. GST. Flat fee for the full 12-month engagement. Not monthly. Not from-pricing. A single locked fee, paid per the agreement we sign.

What if it doesn't work for our business?

Money-back guarantee. If at any point you're not getting value, you don't pay. I take the bet because I run the same stack myself.

Will you build the AI for me?

No. I teach you to build it, and we build it together. You walk away owning the stack and able to extend it. Done-for-you creates dependency, the opposite of what this is.

Is this a course?

No. One-on-one hands-on coaching, custom to your business. Nothing pre-recorded, nothing group. You and me. Twelve months.

Why is it only for $1M+ operators?

Below $1M the stack doesn't earn out yet. You don't have the volume, complexity or team to get leverage from agents and custom dashboards. You'd get more from a website investment first. When you're past $1M and the ceiling shows up, come back.

What tools will I learn?

Whatever fits your business. I don't push a vendor stack. The program covers Claude, local LLM options, MCP servers, Notion or equivalent, your existing job system, and whatever else needs to be in the mix. The point is fluency, not vendor loyalty.

What if I'm already using AI?

Most operators using AI are clicking buttons in someone else's product. Useful, but a tool you rent. This program teaches you to build with AI. Agents on your data. Dashboards you control. Automations you own. Different game.

How is this different from hiring a consultant?

Consultants do it for you and leave you dependent, then charge again next year. I teach you so you own it. By month twelve there's no dependency on me. That's the whole point.

How do I apply?

Short form, then a discovery call with me. I take one new operator per month and I'm selective on fit. The program only works when the operator is right for it. So should you be. This is a year of your time.

Apply

Apply to work with me.

One new operator a month. The application takes about ten minutes, then a discovery call. I review every one personally and respond within two business days. I'm selective. So should you be.
