GoHighLevel (GHL) is an all-in-one CRM and marketing automation platform built for agencies and service businesses. It's the platform ServiceScale uses to build growth systems for trade clients — and it's the most capable tool in its price range for automating the commercial side of a trade business.
Where most job management tools stop at the operational side, GHL picks up the commercial side: capturing leads from website, Facebook, and Google; following up automatically via SMS and email within minutes; booking calls directly into your calendar; collecting Google reviews from completed jobs; and tracking every lead through a visual pipeline.
What it replaces: In a typical trade business tech stack, GHL can replace a standalone CRM (HubSpot), a review collection tool (Podium), an email marketing platform (Mailchimp), a booking tool (Calendly), and an SMS platform (MessageBird). That's meaningful cost consolidation.
What it doesn't replace: GHL is not a job management or invoicing tool. It doesn't replace Tradify, ServiceM8, or Xero. It sits alongside those tools to handle what happens before the job (lead capture, follow-up, booking) and after (review requests, re-marketing, referral requests).
